50 CBSE schools to follow international curriculum from this year

About 50 CBSE schools in India are going to have an international curriculum from this academic year  and out of that almost 25 schools are from Kerala, informs TOI.

CBSE director Sadhana Parashar said CBSE-I is going to be introduced fromclasses I to III in 50 schools across India this academic year.

Launched in classes I and IX of 26 CBSE schools in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and other Gulf countries in 2010-11, CBSE-i is being projected an alternative to foreign boards like International Baccalaureate (IB) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
